After reading an interesting article on Cnet regarding new technology coming out in 2010, I noticed that many of these announcements were made via twitter. It is interesting that the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (on January 7) was announced on Twitter rather than other traditional forms of med. The main topics of interest in 2010 according to twitter announcements are tablets, e-book readers and Smart televisions. I like the mention of the iPhone app to navigate your way through the convention because this shows how integral smart phones are becoming and shows a sample of how they will be used in the near future. I look forward to reading twitter updates of the show and about these new electronics and see what is unveiled at the show.
